The PTA is planning Arroyo's first ever Multicultural Family Night on Wednesday, March 29 — please save the date! We look forward to celebrating our diverse community through food, music, crafts, games, and hopefully a performance or two!

Look out for volunteer opportunities soon, but in the meantime, we would love your input to make this a memorable event for all! You can fill out the survey via the link above.

Join us in the Learning Commons after drop-off this Friday, March 3, at 8:45 a.m. Grab a coffee and treat, then get an update from Mrs. Shelton on all the great things that are happening at Arroyo. There will also be time to chat and ask questions.

It’s time to register! The 2023 Stampede & Soar Color Run is coming up on Sunday, April 2, from 9-11 a.m. Click on the link above to register your student. Registration includes a T-shirt that will get doused in color by teachers throughout the run! And don’t forget: The run is followed by games, music, and treats on the Arroyo/Central campus. Registration is $5 per student. Don’t miss out on the fun — register today!

Now that you’ve marked your calendar for this year’s Stampede & Soar Color Run (Sunday, April 2, 9-11 a.m.), it’s time to pick a volunteer assignment! This massive event runs on the power of our kids’ legs and parents’ support! From handing out T-shirts to helping set up and take down the course, photographing the fun, managing games, and more, there’s a job for everyone! Central students are also invited to help out — a great way to get volunteer hours and give back to the community! Spots are short and fun; find yours here today.

The San Carlos School District is proud to announce that all six of its elementary schools have been selected to receive the 2023 California Distinguished School Award - Arroyo Upper Elementary, Arundel Elementary, Brittan Acres Elementary, Heather Elementary, Mariposa Upper Elementary and White Oaks Elementary.

Last chance: Register now for Let’s Glow Arroyo! This not-to-be-missed event is this Friday, Feb. 3, from 7-9 p.m. in Mustang Hall. There will be snacks, glow games, a selfie station, dancing, and more for Arroyo students and an adult guest. Register to attend via the link above. Make sure to dust off your neon or white clothes, so you’ll glow under the lights. See you there!
