Arroyo Distance Learning Site 2020-2021

We are excited to launch our Arroyo Distance Learning Support Site.  This site will include all of our principal updates, parent support information, technology help, and student extension activities.  You can access google classroom from here, and view other classroom specific announcements.

We are proud to be partnering with the Parent Venture Series, an extension of the Parent Education Series, to bring high-quality, engaging speakers and programs to our community. This year, all events will be online and free! Check our new SCSD Parent Education calendar which lists most events.

Superintendent Search Input Meetings & Stakeholder Survey

The SCSD School Board will offer a number of Zoom meetings where staff, parents and community members may meet with our consultants and share their input regarding the search for a new Superintendent. Meetings will take place from February 24 - March 4, 2021. You may also share your input through a Stakeholder Survey. Afterschool Care Enrichment (ACE) Program Now Taking Registration for Arroyo and Mariposa (4th-5th Grade)

Afterschool Care Enrichment, also known as ACE is a new licensed After School program (pending licensing) founded by Eve Daskalakis who has served families in the San Carlos Childcare Community since 2008. ACE will provide a familiar family-oriented program where students feel safe, at home, challenged, and excited to be a part of each day.

Superintendent COVID-19 Udpates

Although our educational efforts are considered essential services, we are effectively closing our campuses to both students and staff starting March 17. We will reduce activity to what is strictly necessary to continue offering distance learning and limited school lunches. Please click on the link above for more information.
