Volunteer Opportunities

The school and PTA value volunteers and rely on them to partner with us in many ways, including in-class support and activities on campus throughout the year. There are a lot of options: some bigger and some smaller, some during school hours, and many that can be done from home. We hope you want to get involved! You are welcome to reach out to Mrs. Shelton, your child’s teacher, and our PTA leaders at any time to find out how you can contribute.

To volunteer at Arroyo School, or any school in the San Carlos School District, interested volunteers need to sign the SCSD Volunteer Agreement. Volunteers need to submit this form for each school and a new form every year.

School Support Roles

Arroyo needs parent volunteers before and after school and during lunch. Please sign up here if you’re able to help.

There are many PTA events and activities that count on volunteers to make them run smoothly: Multicultural Family Night, Halloween Carnival, Book Fair, Glow Party, and Hometown Days Parade, to name a few! The list of opportunities also includes PTA leadership roles that still need to be filled for the 2023-24 school year. Please consider sharing your skills with us!
