Event Information

We are excited to introduce a few new events for the 2018-2019 school year as well as continue some of our favorites! Look out for event details on the Arroyo website and in the Eagle Eye Newsletter as dates approach. As always, we will need your support to make these events successful. Please visit the Volunteer Opportunities section of our website to get involved.

For the latest event and general school dates, see the School Calendar.

August 22 – FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Welcome to Arroyo! School will begin at 8:35 and end at 1:10 that day.

Aug 22-24 – WELCOME WEEK

In lieu of a single Arroyo day, we invite Eagle families to visit throughout the first week of school!  Come on to campus and see Arroyo in action. All opportunities will offer a chance for families to learn about Arroyo, select a volunteer role, purchase spirit wear, and meet and mingle with fellow Eagles.

Wednesday Welcome Coffee - 8:30-9:30 am. Picnic tables by the office. Meet the new principal and PTA leaders, and find out how you can get involved!

Thursday Lunchtime Visit - 11:40 am-12:05 pm. Learning Commons/lunch area. Swing by during lunch to give your student a hug and see what’s happening on the playground.

Friday Family Fun - 2:15-5:30 pm. Families welcome for an all school assembly featuring Warriors “Dance Cam Mom” Robin Schreiber. We’ll continue the fun with a kickoff dance led by Dance Cam Mom on the blacktop, playground games, food trucks and free time for families to get to know one another.

Aug 30 – BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT (Parents only)

This Thursday will be a minimum day to allow our teachers preparation time. Hear from Arroyo teachers in your child’s classroom from 5:30-7:15 pm. This is an adult only event.
